First I extracted
the logo from the wallpaper, now I have removed
You may be thinking, "Oh no, not another attempt at a logoless Windows 7 wallpaper" but no, this is different. All other logoless wallpapers I have seen have not featured those smaller details like the wispy white trails and glowing, curving lines. This one does. This one is perfect.
What I did was remove the logo (of course), then I started recreating the patch that it left. I coloured it the same shades of blue as the rest of the wallpaper and then went about recreating the curved glowing lines that other wallpapers were missing. I overlaid the original wallpaper to make sure the lines were the right strength, had the right curves and had just the right amount of glow.
I have included a lossless PNG image and a virtually uncompressed JPEG. Both images are 1920x1200 in resolution.
I recommend using the JPEG as an actual wallpaper, as Windows seems to compress PNGs with low quality JPEG compression when it applies them as wallpapers. Also available as hugely massive prints. You could cover your whole wall with this wallpaper if you wished
